Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:37-39
37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
 38ForI am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, norprincipalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
 39Norheight, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate usfrom the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Galatians 2:20
