When You’re Facing a Red Sea - Step Two

Welcome back to our empowering series, "Four Things To Do When Facing Your Red Sea." Today, we venture into the second step of this incredible journey: "Be Still."

In the midst of life's storms, we often rush to act, to control, to fix. But here's the twist: Sometimes, the most powerful action is stillness. "Be Still" may sound counterintuitive, but it holds the key to navigating your personal "Red Sea."

Being still isn't about laziness; it's an act of trust in God's plan. It means stepping aside and allowing God to work His wonders in our lives. When we get out of His way, He can bring forth what's best instead of what's merely adequate.

Imagine if God had tasked the children of Israel with devising their own plan to cross the Red Sea. Their attempts would likely have led to a bigger mess.

Likewise, when we try to solve everything on our own, we often create chaos. God doesn't expect us to perform the impossible; that's His role. He calls us to fulfill our part and trust Him for the rest.

"Be Still" is not a suggestion; it's a command. It might feel challenging—Who has time to be still?—but it's an essential aspect of navigating your personal "Red Sea."

Stay tuned for our next section, where we'll explore the third step on this journey: "Watch Carefully."
